I don't know. Are you applying for Quebec residency, but live and work in Toronto?

Of course not.

One year
Yes I live in Toronto and applied for Skilled worker stream in 2013 when I was in UK. Came as a student in 2015. Got CSQ in Jan 2017 with no issues being here in Toronto. May be I can apply before 6 months of the expiry of my PGWP coz its still valid till June2020. Hope I get DM&PPR before that! so that I dont have to go through this process!

@veena nair You can only apply 4 months before your current permit expires. Anyways, your case is difficult. I don't know much about your case. Have you studied in Quebec? Applied for PR? When, what stage? IF you applied for QSW programme you signed intent to live and work in Quebec. Please read this thread carefully: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/qsw-leaving-quebec-during-the-pr-federal-stage.476554/ Most people there say moving to another province while applying for QSW is a bad, bad idea, .... I hope I didn't scare you (or just enough to inform yourself ...)

Hey don’t worry, I am not Scared at all I am at federal stage waiting for my Dm/PPR My application is in its 20th month! Medicals will expire on 13th April everything in line as I have called CIC and got informed about BG!! I was just curious to know about the OWP!! I know of BOWP bt only for PNP candidates. I have a year in my hand and if I wont get any decision (which I am sure I will get by the grace of God soon) i have to think of other options but I other options too in line. I am familiar abt the stuff like moving to other province etc is not a good idea!! Bt i have studied in Ontario and in my intention I have shown Quebec government that my destination is Montreal as I have applied for Quebec Nursing council already!! I have also stated in it that I will be moving to Quebec only when I will get my PR because without it I cannot risk my JoB here in Ontario!! After this soon I received my CSQ!! My application is taking too long as I have stayed beyond the validity of my visa in The UK before!! And change of country, addition of my daughter to my application etc. I have waited patiently for this long years and I have enough patience (I guess) to wait may be a year too Hope everyone get good news coming months ♥

Hi, I paid the fees through my own credit card before submitting my application. So no question of asking them whether the payment was realised or not.

What do you mean here by whether the payment was linked?

Thanks.
Hi :)

Well the payment is through a portal only, you should send a mail with your receipt in annexed asking whether they linked/received it.

My application was received on 7th August 2018, They knowledge and started processing on 16th March 2019,

Currently I can see they are processing my background check. BTW I have also paid landing fees in advance and I am waiting for Medical.
Hi Dear,

Thanks for sharing the information. So if my understanding is correct, I should see the status in ECAS as "Application Received" for at least another two months. Only after that, I can expect my status getting changed to "In Progress". This is all considering how your application moved and keeping in mind that I am 2 months behind you.

Thanks again my friend.

Is learning french language compulsory for having Quebec Nursing council registration done? I understand knowing french language is very beneficial to work in Quebec.
