Hi Yulia I already have my mom’s police clearance done when I send her the documents to sign for the application. From what I read here people usually wait for pcc request before uploading. Should I wait for the request?
It is different for everyone. Depends upon different factors. One of them is e.g if your parents works in Military services.
To keep it simple, i would say check the timeline sheets and look for time taken similar VO as of your parents. Then you would have an idea how much it would take.
I don't think the pre arrival letter matters much, some people never got it before DM. If your case office is Ottawa, it will be fast in every aspect even with complicated background check. It is what it is, at this point I'm just grateful I could submit the application because it looks like the policy is changing every year and no guarantee we could submit in the future
After medical may be police clearance certificate. Then it is background check and passport request. It is different depends on parents's background and visa office. I would say check time line spreadsheet for Visa office same as your parents's visa office and compare.
Hello..i have got a question for all second round applicants who passed medicals ...does your GC key account says 'we are processing your background check'..just want to make sure we are at same stage...
