My wife sponsored me from Saskatchewan and everybody to whom I tell that my medical is done says now it is matter of days in regards of completion of ur application. But it's now 4 months. Everyone says once medical is done then it's matter of days... Is it really true or it's use to be true
congratesALHAMDOLILAH received my wife PR card on March 10, 2019. We landed on Last week of Jan 2019.......... Amazing, at airport they said in 4 month you will receive ur PR card.......................but we received in 40 days.......crazy

This progress bar is nothing it is same as they have been saying before that the average processing time is 12 month, that does not mean that it will happen in 12 months for sure, it can happen but not mustAnyone going according to his/her "progress bar". Plz share. Mine now shows 12 weeks but complete silence on the other end. But sometimes no news is also good news
It all depends on the complexity of each and every case, simple cases get done in 12 months and other can take up more specially if you are in queue for an interview or stuck in background checks. Once you are scheduled for an interview or stuck in background checks there is no time limitI am sure their must b time limit/frame for immigration officer as well to complete a given application. They should also have a timer on each application that when their one year is completing.

Not necessarily all simple cases get done in 12 months. I think it all depends on how efficient the officer is. Some might be quick with applications and some might be laid back and lazyIt all depends on the complexity of each and every case, simple cases get done in 12 months and other can take up more specially if you are in queue for an interview or stuck in background checks. Yes totally agreed but it is not us who decides. Which case is simple or complex it is upto the case Officer if he believes that or not. In most cases the simple applications are done in 12 months not all offcourseNot necessarily all simple cases get done in 12 months. I think it all depends on how efficient the officer is. I agree. All depends on case worker. On avg one case worker need to solve 35-40 cases each day. This was told by a uk immigration officer in an interview. They need to b pretty fast. Not necessarily all simple cases get done in 12 months. I think it all depends on how efficient the officer is.
