I am not sure if it would get them looking at your file but it should definitely add to "proof of relationship" whenever they do look at your file after that.

Any updates for the apps received on 24th of January? And who ever gone through the Biometrics exam, it is similar to medical exam.I mean, like they send the result by their selves?

LOL true. They are still working on Feb 27th, 28th and Mar1 applications which transferred to CPC-M.
Few people from Feb 27th got DM on Mar14, Mar20, Mar22, Mar29 etc. These are applicants of Oct., Nov. and Dec. There is nobody from Jan who has received DM yet even though we have 2 people who got transferred on March 1.

Hi guys, I am going to visit my husband (the PA) in June. What are your thoughts on sending via webform copies of my airline tickets when I purchase them probably by the end of this month or beginning of May? Would this get them to look at our application since they are a super slow VO or would it cause more delay? I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance! x

I’d put in boarding pass fight tickets and photo of you two taken at well known landmarks of his city in one single file. Preferably upload when you’re back in Canada so the officer wouldn’t have concern that you are not intended to live in Canada when it’s approved. Usually when you upload stuff it can be pushed to the front but I’m not 100% sure, doesn’t hurt to try

Guess who just did biometrics!! Phew!

The staffs at buffalo office was not very familiar with the process so it took them a while to figure out how it works. I’m sure VAC staffs are better trained than them

I didn’t pay biometric upfront and got an email to pay for biometric . Fees paid same day and after 5 days got an email
Back confirming of the receipt from CIC . How long does it take to get Biometric request now ? Any average time between fees paid and request ?

I don't think so. Mostly from what people posted on this forum suggests that they review the documents as soon as they receive and come to the conclusion. May other people have different views

I am waiting for biometrics ... fee paid upfront ... this a strange, they sent you biometrics before SA.

I paid fees on March 5th and I've keep getting request to pay fees but not actual biometric if it makes you feel any better So get ready for the fun.
