How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

I submitted my passport last feb 18 2019. until now we dont have any updates. We always check VFS website for the status. No update. STATUS- still processing.. Why is it taking so long? I mean, WP is already approved.. Why CIC is not making a dispatched??

Update: Received this message few minutes ago. Visa application, tracking ID No. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Π Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, on 2019-04-02 09:47:34 AM GMT Standard Time and is on transit to the Canada Visa Application Centre in CVO-NEW DELHI. When can i expect it back to my address in Hyderabad?

The passport might reach the next day but sometimes you get the notification late in the night.

Just now got a message that decision envelope has been couriered and to track visit the courier partner website. My doubt is do I get a message with courier tracking number or will the VFS tracking number get linked to the courier ?

Usually you will get the passport back in 2 to 3 weeks. Call VFS and check the status.

vfs advised that they dont know why ircc have not dispatched passports. Even my batchmate who have been approved a week before mine still have not receive his passport either. Is there a problem with ircc now? Why is it turtle slow nowadays..

Got my answer. Found AWB number printed on the receipt which was given to me on the day of submission.

Yesterday, My CIC portal got updated. It said that my application was approved and it also showed the counterfoil (visa) number. Today the return tracker for my passports got activated. We should get our passports in hand tomorrow most likely.

Usually you will get the passport back in 2 to 3 weeks. Call VFS and check the status.

Hi there,

Your signature mentions that your CIC account showed approved status after you received your passport.
I wanted to know if that is the case actually, because I just received the vfs update that my passport has been dispatched from the IRCC office. However my CIC account shows no change. Kinda worried.
