The CIC only gives you a biometric request letter and a deadline (30 days) within which you need to schedule an appointment and give your finger prints. You don't necessarily need the letter to book an appointment online, but definitely need it to when you go.

Well the good things is that your documents are getting verified in the beginning and they are asking before hand.
 
I am FSW inland. AOR feb 5th. Medical passed: Mar 21st. nothing about it fingerprints. I believe that it is not necessary once Im inland.
Someone on this situation?
