My husband (PA) did his bio metric back in 2015 when he applied for a visitors visa. that information is on our my CIC but according to the website that biometric would not be applicable to the permanent resident application. I think its just confusing.
No the physician is suppose to upload it themselves. I am guessing that is for your records only. You are in JA right? Kingston or Montego Bay? Cause my husband is in Kingston and he has an appointment for next week. guess i'll see how that process goes
Update: I just received the bio metrics payment request. I paid and sent receipt via webform on friday. So if I won't upload again/ their response time is 5 days.
The boimetrics my husband did for his visitors visa is not valid.. for those of you who were wondering

Actually yes, there's a chance. A few cases have been reported on this forum in the recent months when members were getting their application back after getting an AOR. So AOR is a good sign for sure, but no guarantee an application won't be returned.
