Hi. Can I ask a question? Does getting done with biometrics and medical has any relation with the file transfer? Does file only get transferred after we do these? I am asking as we are not finding any appointment for Biometrics for the next 10 days locally and so am afraid if this will cause delay in the file transfer or application process?

If that's the case, we will travel to another city. Looking forward to guidance from members. Thanks

My husband did his medical exam on the 15th and we have not received biometrics request nor seen 'medical passed' on CIC yet. We got transferred to Mississauga on the 20th.

I got my medicals done on 16th and the only update that I see on ecas since 21st March is " We have received your medical results". File was transferred to CPC-M on 20th March. Since then no update if the medicals have been passed or no

Does anyone know maximum days between medical exam and medical passed update ? Because I did medicals on 13 th March still didn’t received any information regarding my medicals result

Can understand your hopeless and helpIessnes. I feel this forum has increased anxiety in people for the obvious reason(other people from same time frame has got this, why haven’t I?)
Yes there are flaws in the processing system but negative thoughts are not gonna help anyway. I know I could be in your shoes too so that’s why preparing myself. I know it’s not very helpful but there is hope.
If I’m correct Somebody named @patelboss didn’t receive anything for the longest time and then bam received everything on one single day.

Yes Boss.. I received AOR on 56th day and received SA, Biometrics and Medical request within few hours after AOR. Please be patient, as far your application is still there, they will work on it for sure.

Hello, i was able to check my ecas and it says application recieved and we started processing your application, then it say a correspondent was sent to you to confirm but i haven't received any , was that your case aswell? Thank you!

No. My ecas stayed as Application Received for like 15 days and then they started processing and sent me updates so mine was not like urs.

Do we receive any email once the status is updated in GC Key stating there is an update in your account. My husband completed his medicals on 22nd and I am just checking both GC Key and ECAS every time.

Parent’s address? I didn’t understand

When you do the application in one of the forms it asks for the address of your parents.My father is backhome and I put that address for him and the canadian address for my mom as she is in canada with a visa

For me it showed in GCKey and ECAS. No emails. Hope this helps! x

It'll just update on GCKEY stating passed and ECAS will change to 'Medical results have been received', unfortunately there's no email sent out to alert you so it's a case of refreshing (Like we all already do )

Oh yes I remember you mean PA’s parent’s address. Yeah that’s correct. I filled all the forms so I put PA’s family address as where they currently reside which is India.

I’m sponsor and me and my whole family is in Canada so that’s why I didn’t know what to answer.

So your parents were in Canada already before they were approved for the PR?
If yes was your transferred their file from India to Canada?

Lol I got surprised too every time I got update early morning from Sydney. It’s 3 hours ahead of my time zone then I calculated the current time of Sydney and it made sense.
Get that gas filled up and share your experience

So your parents were in Canada already before they were approved for the PR?
If yes was your transferred their file from India to Canada?

Sorry are you asking about spouse case or parents sponsorship??
