Congrats and all the best. My AOR is also 31 Aug 18 and I feel more optimistic now that my PR might also be coming soon

Btw why are they asking for 12 months passport validity... I don’t understand I mean isnt it usually 6 months...? Is this a new rule or only specific to your case?

I was also surprised seeing the requirement. I knew the passport validity requirement to be of 6 months and that's why I did not renew my passport earlier. Anyway, this is probably the new rule now.

Yes. My application was processed at the CPC-Ottawa and I was instructed to submit my passport at the Canadian High Commission, Singapore.

Really happy to see everyone getting PPRs.

While at the same time, I am loosing hope for myself. I am under security screening since 8th Nov.

This wait is killing the urge of moving to Canada.

CBSA doesn't have a strict timeline on security screening.

Are you from pakistan? what’s your visa office?

Try ordering CBSA or/and CSIS notes, sometimes doing that triggers progress for one’s application.

Its PPR! Today morning I received my PPR mail.

AOR - 18 Aug 2018
Medicals - 8 Sept 2018
Eligibility - 8 Sept 2018
IP1 - 1 Mar 2019 (Criminality & Security not started)

My agent raised a CSE on 12 Mar asking about the status and they told us thata decision has been taken and the VO will contact you soon.
