Reviewing your eligibility means they're verifying whether you meet all the points you claim.

Eligibility under review means something under your eligibility has been flagged. They found something suspicious and want further review on it.

Just called CIC and came to know that my background check is completed. What can be the next thing in process ? I asked if my application is approved but she adviced me to keep an eye on my account and wait for any mail or updates.

I'm still waiting on the golden email. How long does it normally take to get the mail after approval?

P.S. I called CIC on Tuesday and was told that my application was approved from March 4th.

Should be in the next batch (Mon/Tue) hopefully

@SithLord You seem to be very active on this forum, do you have any idea how long eligibility under review takes? Since Ip2 on 2nd march, my status is same. I have seen most of September applicants that are still stuck have eligibility under review and security not started.

Eligibility under review for what reason? Identify that and try to resolve through LOE / CSE proactively. I think since you moved to IP2, you're good, Eligibility under review might be by a case analyst which is usually cleared by senior office (if they are satisfied).

I am thinking to order GCMS today too. By the way you are already in IP2 and you ordered GCMS. Anything you feel would be concerning to IRCC on the papers you submitted?

I guess you should wait, since Oct 17 has moved to IP2 today, you should move to IP2 in next week, if you order now, more chances that your notes will show nothing started.

Fully agree. But having noticed few AOR 18 and 19 Oct applicants moving into IP2, I was triggered about this GCMS thought.

Can be 1-2 days here and there, you can call meanwhile, anyways gcms notes will take 4 weeks.
