Still no update since 31st of August 2018,tried sending an email and it was an automated reply that I got saying that my application is in queue and when anything comes up that they reach out. Have not even done my medicals and that worries me alot .

Yeah had gotten both since last year and it was after the SA that I got the AOR2 to let me know that my application had been transferred to Accra on the 31st of August. My Application was actually submitted on the 24th of May 2018 .

Application received on April 13, 2018. Sponsor approved on June 8 and file transferred to Accra. Accra office contacted me on December 20, 2018 with a medical request and pre-arrival service was sent to me as well. December 26, 2018 - received PCC request, Schedule A to be completed again and make payment for RPRF. Medical was passed on January 3, 2019, and background check changed to in process this same day. January 11, 2019 - received passport request and decision made on ecas. Passport was sent on Jan 14. GCkeys was updated on Jan 23 to approved with visa counterfoil details. So basically 9 days in between. Today passport is already with the visa application centre ready for collection. All in all 9 months 10 days.

I have friends who also got their application approved in 9months in Accra. Trust me if your case is simple it takes less than 12 months but if its complex, then you gonna wait. So the same timelines might not apply to everyone. Accra office is doing a great job! Wish you all the best.

For those who have submitted medical, police report etc! did you upload the police report or did you mail it. In the letter it asked for original police certificate , we emailed to ask them but didn't get reply.

Daddywayne42 is my husband our timeline is as follows;
App received May 24th 2018
Sponsor approval August 16th
File transfer to AVO August 31st
Csq received as well

That’s it ,nothing since then, no medical as of yet

I believe our application is a little more complicated than most because of him being a failed refugee claimant and being removed, there is also an accompanying dependant child. We had originally started this process as inland applicants in November 2017, but had to withdraw that application when he was removed and submit a new Outland one... we just need to be patient and wait
