I had submitted PR application when i was in India and also mentioned all the contact information for India. I got my PR approved and also received CPCO email for submission of Passport. I am currently in US on L1 visa and have following questions
- In the email it says i need to submit passport and photos from India (New Delhi Embassy) within 30 days. Is there a way i can submit by documents in any of the Canada embassy offices in US or will i have to go to India?
- Is there a way i can get confirmation that i send directly to Ottawa office? I have mailed Embassy and turnaround time for reply is around 10-15 days
- Do i need to get bio-metrics done?
- Should i mail them about the change in address and then change the Embassy details?
- Please detail out the step by step process for sending the documents via Post to Canada Embassy in Ottawa
So now they will just be harassed all the time, without even six months passing . In seriousness, I did feel a short but sharp pang of regret when that little light at the end of the tunnel was taken away.....
After you pass your medicals which may take 30-40 days from AOR as per the current trend. (Information gathered from friends who got AOR in Jan 19 and gave biometrics already)
Not crossing out those options will not affect your application at all as long as your name, father's name and passport number is correct and the document is complete. No need to worry over it
Hi, I am in the same situation. Medicals are not passed yet but background check says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
This is the default for a lot of application these days. Many of my friends who got AOR in November, December and January have never seen any "Not Available" on their status. Giving too much thought about this status is a waste of time these days

True. That thing is still visible on my cousins profile ( 3 Jan 2019 - AOR) and when I saw it is missing on mine, I contacted CIC twice already, asking where did it go and I know for sure I am not the only one
My friend with AoR on Jan 20 had his first update “ MEP” , it was notified by email as well.
My AoR was on Feb 3, 2019 and I expect to have it somewhere on March 15.
Hi everyone! Any cuban here? I have a specific question about medicals in Cuba.
At the hospital (Enrique Cabrera...el nacional) they told us that the Canadian embassy collects all the results from the medical exam. I don't know if the embassy itself sends the results to the CIC. They didn't even asked for my application number. Furthermore, I just uploaded proof of the appointment with the application since my deadline was Feb 11th and I had the exams on Feb 14th. How does the CIC get the results? I'm worried!
Everyone who has any idea...please help!!
Thanks
