Just called up CIC regarding my application by following your instructions (Thanks by the way for the detailed post!).
The guy who answered told me that my file is transferred to the VISA office @ New Delhi, India. Due to that, he doesn't have access to any details related to my application.
Any idea what that means? should i call again next week?
I got an email today about the update in application. I checked that status in background check changed to we are processing your background. So is it IP2?

Me and girlfriend (both German living in Germany) applied under the EE stream and received our AOR on 07.12.18. We received the biometrics collection letter on 17.01.19 and provided them on 18.01.19. Since then we have not received any other email or update in the account.
I frankly don’t understand what is meant by IP2 and don’t know whether we’re in this stage already. Lasted Status is medical passed, biometrics completed, no additional documents or interview needed and BG is “we are processing your background check”.

I also send few documents and got reply that my file is at Delhi high commission and you please update them. Don’t know what they are doing. I called delhi high commission but can’t get through. They say only by mail contact us.
I sent a CSE yesterday for an update and I’ve just received this reply! Now I have no idea if this is good news or not... I have to wait... this is killing me... I must think positive. What’s everyone’s thoughts?
