No. In Winnipeg you dont have to book appointment on Fridays. They work on a first come, first serve basis from 9am to 2pm. It took 5 minutes waiting and 10 minutes talking to the officer.

Did the landing this morning.
It took us 90 min from waiting in the line on us site to "congratulations you are now permanent residents of Canada".
The us officer asked us:height, weight, took fingerprints etc... Canadian officer just asked for the conformation of address for the cards.
It will be in cic account. No changes in ecas.
Passport sent- feb 5th
Delivered- Feb 7th
Approved- Feb 15th and now waiting for return tracker to be activated (tonight or next week)
