I saw that people with pictures submission in january got update, anyone with this January dates got updates please ?

i got ghost update yesterday JAN 2 for re submission....

Wife Got PR - 18th Aug 2018
After calling CIC and following up multiple times the operator told that there is a photo request. i had not recieved any mail communication.
the reason i think is that they had my previous email id (old company) from when i worked in canada on work permit.
Photo Request for me - 26th Nov 2018
Photo Dispatch - 17th Dec 2018
Photo Reached - 19th Dec 2018
Ghost Update - 13th Feb 2018 (Application/profile updated)
PR Approval - waiting....

called CIC on 12th Feb 2018 and got an update that my profile had an update that photos were received (i guess opened) on 7th Feb and will be processed soon.

For all those who are still waiting for ghost updates and approvals for photographs received around 19th Dec 2018 - hopefully this helps.
i see updates for photos sent in first week on Jan 2019 now - so if you have sent photos in Dec 2018 and still dont see updates - dont panic - send a webform or call CIC and you should see updates soon.

Landed on Sep 15th, got first photo submission request on Nov 20th, sent photos which were delivered on Dec 11, 2018.

Yesterday, I got a message that I need to submit my photos again within 30 days. It also contained a disclaimer that "Please disregard this notice if you have recently submitted new photos to our centre or have received your PR card."

I am in fix now to resubmit again or wait for the card. I am not able to link my cic account to my PR card as well. Whom shall I reach out to??

Please advise!!

I think you have got another photo request. This line "Please disregard this notice if you have recently submitted new photos to our centre or have received your PR card. " is written even in first photo request letter.

You can check the date on the letter. If the date is same as on previous letter, you do not need to send photos again.

Send them new photos. Make sure its exactly the right measurement as specified

It's another request because they did not accept your recent photos. It happened to me too, and I sent out new 2 photos few days back.

Ya, I too feel the same, but I dont know what was wrong with the photos. I took them from a studio in Downtown, it was as per the specifications.

Yes the date on the new one is Feb 12th, so I need to do it again I believe.

Any Idea on how to track once we resent the photos i.e after the photos are delivered to the PR center..
