Sadly my eligibility review is still going on for 2 months

Any idea when do they normally conclude eligibility is passed for an application?

I see December AOR folks getting RPRF request which kind of makes it worse even more in my case

yo sith, have you tried raising a CSE to know about your status or tried calling cic? if yes then what was their response?

Mine's Jan 18th for the IP2 stage and the CIO office as well. I'm guessing the whole process would be completed over there and we all get our PPRs soon !

2019/01/04 Ghost Update: Eligibility is passed
2019/01/24 Ghost Update: Everything is passed, waiting for final approval
2019/01/31 PPR

Hi All
I got PR visa today for me and my family (3 dependants) FSW-O from South Africa. My time lines as follows;
AOR: 8th Nov 2018
Med pass : 11 Dec 2018
ADR for PCC: Submitted 4 January 2019 (mistakenly submitted an expired one for me and my wife)
ADR for second medical exam: Submitted 19 January 2019 (Initial medical report expired on 11 January 2019)
PPR email received: 25 January 2019
PR visa granted : 1 February 2019

I called CIC and they said my initial assessment was completed on December 17th 2018 and my file was transferred to CPC - Ottawa.

Background check not yet initiated

I think your eligibility either not started or in progress. I think so because my gcms notes was generated on 3 January and last note says that my file was transferred to Ottawa office on 27 December. My eligibility has not started yet. I have ordered new notes to see what has changed in one month.

Many of us are in the same situation. It seems the process has become longer then it used to be. Maybe you should order GCMS notes to look at your status?

Earlier they used to be fast but now 2 months since MEP and still no positive signs

When I raised a CSE, I got this reply;

The responsible office is currently verifying whether you meet eligibility requirements.

Is verifying means "in progress" or "under review"?

Got my AOR Nov 29th
Current Status: Mddical Passed
Got notification for biometrics Jan 9th 2019, had biometrics taken Jan 10th, but the profile is yet to indicate the biometrics have been updated despite it showing there with the respective number for myself and dependant.

Just waiting now and not sure what to expect next...

Hi Guys,
Congrats for those who got PPR.
My background verification was set to "In Progress" on Jan 16th. I submitted a web form request yesterday regarding the status and Visa office. I just got the reply saying "We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia."

I also raised CSE to know the VO and my application is also being processed at CPC - Ottawa. Did not get any further update on the application.

Try calling them somewhere in the next week to ask about the eligibility.
Also, there are many people from 1-10 Oct AoR for whom the eligibility hasb't been initiated. The whole process is way too random.
