Spoke to CIC today. They told me to call back on Feb 8th as they can then flag my file for review. The last time I called the agent flagged my file for review on January 8th and noting has happened since. Guess I'll have to wait till Feb 8th! I also asked the agent what takes so long when your file needs to be reviewed by a senior officer, he said "It depends upon the date the junior officer looked at your file and flagged it for RR, then it goes into a cue. But also depends upon the background check." From my understanding if the background check isn't complete, they don't bother to look at your file until it has been done. Somehow I don't know if that is very accurate. My file has been in RR since July 12th last year! RCMP - NRT, Info Sharing Complete, PCC-NRT R10 OK. Donno what more they need apart from the missing duties which I submitted via Webform early this month!
By the way I sent an email to Atip for following up my gcms note however they dont bother themeselves to answer to the emails. If your theory would be correct, I think they have advanced Alzheimer

confirmed by ircc call center agent - security passed and it is updated in the paper application. asked me to be patient. max wait time until april but decision will likely to be made soon. finger crossed.
