My AOR is Aug 9th, CEC, Inland, and I just got one ghost update on Dec but nothing else after that...

Things are just getting slower day by day. I am looking for a new job now but looks like I can't since my work permit is expiring June 5th. I have to apply for a BOWP now to get a job and wait for PR, which is also there. I'd remove the word "patience" from my dictionary soon. Good luck to everyone.

My AOR is August 1. Received a ghost update on Friday, but no other updates since medicals passed on Aug 24.

Great. Sorry to hear that my friend. Let's wish good luck to all of us. Hope we can hear the good news very soon. You are about to touch the 6 months processing time and it is still under process. Ridiculous.

Any inland applicants received their PPR yet? My AOR was August 29th, 2018 and still waiting. After medical passed, there is no update so far.

Ya clearly. If you can't handle too many applicants then either stop inviting 3900 people or hire more officers to at least maintain the promised deadline. Of course a lot of people want to become PR just like me or you but it is unfair from their part if they can't keep their words.

Hi everyone...my aor is Aug 25th and medicals passed on sep 20th...stuck in ip1 since then...ordered gcms notes on Dec 4th and received them today but were generated on Dec 6th 2018....everything else seems to be fine except proof of funds:

“Settlement funds: Review required, approx. CAD 22812.30, family of 4 requires CAD 23181

Summary notes: proof of funds: not met, review required”

I gave a fixed deposit of INR 1300000
and if I do the math, the conversion rate they have considered is 56.96 however the conversion rate was 53.61 when I submitted my file on Aug 25th.

Please suggest what should I do in this case.

Add equivalent of 1500CAD to your account and request a new statement on the account, then raise a CSE and indicate your concern that your POF may have a shortfall due to Xchange rates. You're good to go .
Note: if you're waiting for them to contact you sorry you may be waiting endlessly.

Nothing is moving I guess. I have gray hair already, thanks to CIC. I will be counting them all by the time they finish and have them reimbursed.

I just got an update on my profile this morning (status changed to application/profile updated), but there is nothing yet. I've been on ip2 stage for months now.
Does that mean I should expect bad news? I'm really confused. I'd really appreciate your input.

Check what it is says against medical. Is it saying you passed? Or "you do not need a medical exam now. Will send you a message if this changes"?

'Ghost update' could mean anything. Any changes or update made to the application. Just check. I'm not trying to shake your hope here, but all the best for your golden email.

My medical expired Jan 9th. I called CIC, agent mentioned not to retake unless asked for. So if there is a need for you to take one more medicals, you will receive an email or notification on your application.

Mine is Ottawa. It used to be real speedy but it's so slow nowadays. Probably due to more applications than ever!

My status is as follows:
Eligibility: Recommended Passed
Criminality and Medical: Passed
Security: Not Started (until 2nd week of January)

same status here. From December 1st to January 25 ( Last call on January 25 security to start yet. ). I dont know why they are delaying CEC applicants there is nothing to check lol.
