Got a "ready for visa" e-mail yesterday in the evening.
My time line is:
AOR - Aug 16,
Medical passed - Sept 6,
IP2 since OAR, no updates on file after "medical passed".
CEC inland, one dependent, non-IT NOC.

Hi, I spoke to an IRCC agent today and he told me that my eligibility is still getting reviewed, and the background check hasn't started yet.
My AOR date is 6th August 2018, application being processed in CPC - Ottawa.

Just 27 days left to reach the 6 months mark. Can anybody help me understand why they haven't moved past the eligibilty stage yet?

Have ordered the GCMS notes through getgcms today.

I applied on the exact same day (6th August, 2018) and called them last week. They told me the same thing. I don't get it. I applied for GCMS on December 28th. Let's see.

I know! This is so disappointing.
All we can do now is wait for a miracle. Wish CPC-Ottawa picks up the pace and starts getting some work done.

Similar timeline. Doubt that we'll have PR before 180 are over Seems that the average time 2018 AOR is much more than 180 days.

Yes, it will cross the 180 days mark. They cant finish processing everything in 27 days since as per other applicants, security screening alone takes a lot of time.

For people who have ordered and received GCMS notes, have you seen something like PReVU Verified in the Notes section?
I read somewhere that this means Security has started.
With so many of us getting the feedback from the agent as "Security has not started yet", I was wondering if the above is true.
