I would like to sponsor my wife from Pakistan. We just done with our marriage. Can someone please tell me how to start application. I have already changed her NIC with my name and Passport. Please share with me what is the next steps.

july 2017 applicant, same stuck in background check, did you got update from MP, i queried MP about my case last month and told me that there is bring forward date on my file at the end of the january

We contacted mp last month he told us that there has nothing been done on our file eligibility, criminality, security checks nothing. After that we got pre arrival services but our background checks are still in process since May 2018.

Its not fair some get background checks done in a day or a week and other wait for an year or more. So frustrating and stupid process

My eligibility got passed after 14 months but background checks are in process since May 2018. I am October 11, 2017 applicant.

trust me no one cares. In 2 weeks, it’ll be 4 months for background check.

You are right but what else we can do. For me it has been freaking 8 months almost since my background checks are started. Do you have an extensive traveling history?
