Most of us are waiting for longer time period then others. Expect anything after an year atleast

spousal sponsorship ka case 6 months to 12 months me hojaata ha ... if your case is straighforward... chahay LVO me jab bhi jaaye..
so is hisaab se Oct walay cases nimat jaanay chahiyen..aur kaafi saaray nimat gaye hain

Anyone from Lahore here?
1. From where can i get the Urdu Nikah Nama translated to English in Lahore?
2. Do I need to get the signatures of witnesses again on the translated version?
3. Do I have to get the translated version notarised by notary public?
4. Do I have to get an affidavit from the translator? If yes, then what should it state?

1) From any translation centre. You will find plenty of them around Court Kachehri area. You also need their Affidavit on official stamp paper. Most translators can provide you all these services.
2) Signatures are not required in translations
3) Yes. You basically need to get COPY of it notarized. I went to MOFA and get my originals photocopies attested by MOFA, because that's more authentic and official.
4) You can find Affidavit's content here : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Pg79XzCUWoKbrTkemiZ6QxBhaCV1Q-_0 ... Btw, you don't require affidavit if your photocopies of Urdu Nikkahnama and its English Translation are attested by MOFA.

Zero travel history - Background check was initiated on September 19 2018

I am on the same boat...I am a July 2017 sponsor and the file was transferred to LVO late August 2017...the Background check started Sept 19, 2018 and it's still in process...

I think they jumped to new applicants and forgot about us :s

Straight forward ho yah na ho it’s only about luck. Buhat saray straight forward cases jin ki eligibility less then 8 months mAin clear ho ghai thi un ko 16 months se zyada bhi lagay sirf background checks mAin or un kibkoi travel history bhi nahe thi. Is liya kuch bhi ho sekta

Yes it’s been more then 14 months for me eligibility just passed after 14 months and background checks are still going on. Only God knows when this misery is going to end.

MY GOD ...this is horrible. I am going to apply in January, waiting for some docs but im already very scared.

Wish you good luck don’t raise you expectations too high keep in mind that it can take 12 months or even more since second marriage is a big crime for london visa office

True. Second marriage is a sin when it comes to LVO. Almost 99% of the cases take longer than 12 months and most get called for interview. I'm Feb 2018 applicant and as expected no activity so far. The update I got few weeks ago was that they haven't touched my file yet. Some May/June 2018 cases (first marriage) already got PPR.

Oh my gosh, this is crazy, i understand waiting 8-12 months but that should be it. I really dont want this interview and all.
Have you guys already had your interviews.

But , this is reality. Unfortunately we have to suffer a little bit more ( as if we hadn’t in the past )

Yes same thing . I’m May applicant , nothing yet. Haven’t touched my file in LVO
