Upon calling CIC, got to know that my Eligibility is recommended passed. Does it mean i got no RR (review required).

Usually, if we have any review required in our profile (for eligibility), will the agent say the same.

There is no progress bar on my application page.

Hey mine shows the same, I saw my application my updated 5 days ago, but there was nothing updated, I checked right after processing bar email, then I received same email today and status said updated and this bar was there, not sure if that was a ghost update?

I don't see it in mine either! It is nonsense, so It makes me a little bit concerned.

Well I guess we will have to just wait it out till 6 months then, that's jan 18 for me. So far, if I go by app update, I have only seen Medical passed , nothing else. I am almost 5 months in now. Good luck bud!

I found out that there was a 'Review Required' notes on my GCMC notes regarding my international and Canadian work experience.

I have proactively uploaded some documents based on the notes, using the web-from.

My question is, will my application now fall off the normal turnaround time of 6 months?

Here is my timeline:
AOR - July 19 2018
Medical Passed - August 9 2018
VO - Initially Vergeville, I am assuming its not Edmonton
IP2 - I believe its IP2 Status as I see - 'We are processing your application.' & 'We are processing your background check.'
Eligibility : 'We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.'

no one knows! but the good thing is that you uploaded a Letter of explanation. you will receive within a 10 days period an email from CIC that they have forwarded your uploaded documents for the responsible officer for review.
