Please update my status in the excel sheet. Name: Seafay Dec 5 DM1. Special Note: My VO is JA, who is really slow processing the cases require extra documents (cases like sponsored spouse previously, need explanation letters, missing documents, and unknown reasons). This VO likes to keep these cases waited for several months for unknown reason, just let you know if anyone who submitted the application before May but still no DM1 yet.

Do you recommend to send the emedical, PCC and Supplementary Information(Travel) via email as well? or both?

doctor submit medical, you can send PCC and Travel by email as well

Good point Yulia. Applications from China usually go to Hong Kong or Ottawa. Jamaica VO is definitely odd for sure

I have applied for parent sponsorship in aug 2018. End of nov I saw the application status changed from "Application Received" to "In process" . And recently it got changed back to "Application Received".
Did anyone here have a similar experience? Wondering if something went wong..

If there's something wrong, they will notify you of that and ask for additional documents etc. Are you in SS?

Have you received SA? If you have, it means your LVO have received your files and changed it to "App Received" by LVO. If you have not received SA, they may be looking for additional documents.

Maybe he made a typo, but Ja stands for Jamaica. They wouldn't send it to Jamaica unless his parents are from Jamaica.

**** hey Everyone, just an urgent inquiry.. i am planning to go to BLS or CGI on Monday to apply PCC for my mother.. they are asking a proof of Canadian address for my mother. I have none as all the bills i.e gas, phone etc come in my name only. can someone please suggest something what other docs would be acceptable. Thanks for the help.
Would thet accept the letter that i have received from CIC with her name and my address on it as a proof. please advise, thanks once again.

I went to BLS Brampton last year. They go exactly by what is written on their form as required proofs and do not budge at all. In my case I had to go twice as I forgot to photocopy the last entry stamp into Canada. Very busy office and will take about 3 hours. Just make sure you have all that is requested on the website plus take more if you have.

Anybody waited a long time after medical and RPRF? My parent's medical received in October, then PCC and RPRF asked just after 4 days and submitted immediately. Since then its been 2 months, no update. Anybody has the same situation? What could be the longest period before PPR?
