Passed test yesterday in Hamilton. Since I applied for urgent processing in the beginning which was not considered. The officer said if all goes well she will put me ahead of the queue for oath.

My interviewer told me we will send you invitation for oath in 4 to 6 weeks and today 6 month is complete.

Sadly, we can only be hopeful. I was told I would get some update regarding the CBP, if it's required, in a week. It's been over 2 weeks. I can only hope that they don't need it and my status should change to DM in a month..

I noticed people who live in EAST GTA. There are only two Citizenship Ceremony occurring in Scarborough i.e. on Friday December 07, 2018 - 9:00 am& 11:00 am.

So assuming they send the Citizenship oath invitation email atleast 7 days ago if people who fall in this region haven’t received one yet then DO NOT expet u would become Canadian by end of this year.

Moreover, there are high chances for your oath to be scheduled in Mississauga. But, looking at the schedule there & assuming to receive invitation atleast 10 days in prior there it is very unlikely either to receive any Citizenship oat invitation for that location either.

So, my fellow future Canadians as we r almost done for this year and holidays r also approaching soon I recommend to sit back relax and enjoy the weather and holiday season. Hopping to get Canadian Citizenship Oath invite sometime in January 19 or February 19.

I have received the email for the Oath ceremony. But I will not be in canada for the whole month. Anyone has experience to made a request for changing the oath taking ceremony? Will there be any problem

Hamilton has been very quick when it comes to Oath dates even if I compare from 2017. After DM within a month everyone gets Oath invite and then a month to Oath. So from DM to Oath is 2 months.

Decision Made date ecas estimate: Dec 1st

I attended the exam at Montreal I requested to send my file to Kitchener ON. Hopefully it will not delay my Oath ceremony
