The consultancy model should end or at least controlled. Only genuine vendors who work directly with client must be allowed. The in between companies must be banned.
I do not disagree and for now US is behaving as if it won't impact them. I have heard stories of people doing higher studies in US and not been able to obtain an H1B .. That is not sustainable. The Indian and Chinese students contribute Billions in US education industry. Pick any college / university Indian and Chinese students make a good chunk of it. If it continues like this no one is going to take loans and study there. Every action has a reaction .. and sometimes a delayed reaction.
Truth is US is the biggest job market in the world. For the same skills set I can see many more jobs in the US than any other developed country. And hence they also need immigrants to fill the gap. I think what Canada is doing here is smart. They are kind of "poaching" the talent that US has. Now, it all depends on the leadership in Canada how best they exploit this situation. If I were a business / political leader I would start setting up offices in tier 2 cities of Canada. Let's see how Canada wants to play their hand. If they play it well their economy can see a huge jump.
It's true, I lived in the US for 8 years, doing graduate school and PhD, plus 1 year of OPT and couldn't get a sponshorship for H1B at the end, that is why I applied for permanent residency in Canada.

Hello nice people, i've been a passive reader in this group but today here I am.
I have noticed that delays decreased for pnp applicant at the opposite of the fsw, I think that's because we're at the end of the year and that ircc have engagements to reach a predetermined number of PR for each stream, as they started the year with a good pace for fsw at the expense of pnp, they have now to increase the pace for pnp cases
