*Ps.: Don't ever apply thru Service Canada offices, or via Canada Post.

I need your advise guys. Its been a year the citizenship application in process. I passed citizenship test on 1st Oct at Scarborough, GTA. Since, then its in process, they called me next day and asked to provide further explanation of business activities and letter received on 3rd Oct. I contacted my local MP LISA RAITT and she told me that you application is on non routine.

The application was considered non-routine due to the following reason(s):

additional information was received from your constituent regarding their business activities.
an officer is reviewing the information received.

· The criminality verifications are currently valid.

· The security verifications are currently valid.

· The immigration verifications are currently valid.

ANYONE ADVISE ME ? PLEASE!

AOR: Jan 11, 2018
In process: Jan 24, 2018
Test invite: Aug 29, 2018
Test: Sep 20, 2018 (at Scarborough)
Decision made: Sep 22, 2018
Oath invite: Oct 30, 2018
Oath date: Nov 13, 2018 (at Mississauga)

Congratulations! Did my test on Sept 25 in Scarborough. DM on 26. Still waiting for oath invite

Pls update the sheet :

Nov 7: Test passed.
Nov 9: ceremony invitation.
Nov 29: Ceremony date.

Am I the only one here who has passed the test at the end of September, passed interview and still see "In Process" status?
If I am not, I have a bad news for you. After I wrote to my MP about this situation (yes, 12 months past) I have immediately received fingerprint request. Which made my case de facto non routine application.
I have no ideas why, I have no ideas why at this stage, and I have no ideas how long I will wait after.
I am ordering ATIP records and gcsm notes.

Would you please let me know how to contact MP? do I need to call or email? MPs have their governmental email. Should I send an email to governmental email or they have another email for these kind of issues?

Hi Guys,

We have applied 22nd November 2017. We did our test in March and it took them till October to change our status to decision made. Still waiting for the Oath letter. We have applied from Toronto. Is there anyone here having the same issue?

I called them one time and they didn't help me at all unless telling me to wait it will come.
