Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Hi Guys,
I have a question - if there is a birth of a child post submitting ur parents sponsorship application and receiving the receipt# from CIC (online status says "Application Received"). Income criteria were met before but now post birth of a child there is a shortage in one year. Do you think / know if the parents sponsorship application will get rejected? I read online that birth of a child has to be reported. Any thoughts?

Hi , I don't think so. The clinic will do that.

Can you tell me please where do u see the above info from steps 1 - 5? is it under ur account or ur parents account?

Finally I can check status from website. Filed August 15, 2018 round 2.

My parents sponsorship application is in process (1st round), Sponsorship approval received - waiting for Medicals (London VO).
Meanwhile we applied for Extension of Stay for my mom, so that she can stay more than 6 months. (she is on super visa but office put a exit date on entry stamp). As part of Extension of stay application, they have requested for Medicals.
Question: Will this medical be reused for Sponsorship application too OR i will have to do another medicals for sponsorship application ? (costing around $400)

yes you can use result if you get IME request next 1 year
take receipt / and all paperwork just in case/

Hi Everyone, I am planning to apply for my parents for 2019. I want to know what are the steps, I see on CIC it says you have to first send that you are interested to apply. do we have to provide any documents during this round or only after my name comes out i have to provide forms and documents? Would really appreciate your help.

Medical is valid for one year ,if you get the medical request later and the process is complete by that date ,this will suffice . If this takes more than a year to complete you will get a request to do the medical again.

So will my income with the addition of new baby be evaluated for the same 3 years or they will consider my income in the year baby is born.
