How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Hi all... My application has been approved.
My timeline is:
Passport submitted: 22 Oct
Application approved: 15 Nov
Passport received: May be within Two days

Hi Guys,

As mentioned on the August AOR channel , I have received my PPR this morning by the grace of GOD. I need some help for passport submission. Here are my questions:

1.Do I need to carry my old(expired passport) along with the new one?
2.Is there any specific time we need to go? I read on the website that no prior appointments are required.
3.Apart from passports,consent form & passport size photos(as per canadian format) , is anything else required?
4.Can i take cash with me for paying VFS fee or they accept only Demand Draft?

Please help.

Hi Answers to your questions: if you are submitting in VFS Bangalore
1. No need to carry your old passport, they have not asked for me.
2. No specific time and no appointments required.
3. Just take photo copies of your passport in case they may ask.
4. Only cash is acceptable.

Does anybody know how many months visa they issue? Someone told me it will be issued for how long your medicals are valid for.

Is this true? Anybody know how many months they give visa for landing?

I have received request for passport submission on 14 Nov, but I am travelling to another country from 26 Nov to 3 Dec. Will it be fine if I send my passport via VFS on 4 Dec [i.e after 21 days] and will it reach NDVO within 13 Dec as I am required to submit my passport within 30 days. Please assist I am getting very nervous.

Yes you can submit. The deadline is within 30 days. Once you submit it at vfs your job is done. So dont worry. Go ahead and enjoy your vacation
