Mate, some of us got ghost update almost 4 weeks ago, I got ghost update on 5th Nov but no sign of PPR yet. I don't think we will see PPR before December (6 months). So keeping low expectation may help us to reduce anxiety.

If her/his ghost is from Ottawa...then its coming through...I feel for guys that moved to Sydney.Cant understand why they complicated it.

my details are given below:
AOR - June 10
Currently in IP2, not sure if we will get our PPR soon
I heard recently that it takes upto 10 months and then I also heard some June AOR cases receive their PRs in september.
Not sure why its taking such a long time.

Also what is a ghost update? any links to the information on this?

Welcome to the forum.

1. We all will get PPR soon.
2. A few files may take 10 months or even beyond but most files can be expected to clear in 6 months.
3. Few June people got PPRs in Sept. The same way Sept. Guys are getting now in Nov.
4. Ghost update is when you login to your CIC account and the status on the page where you see list of your applications (ITA & EAPR) as 'Updated' but when you click to see the full application there are no changes there. This is usually an indication of your file getting final approval. The only thing remaining from then is they sending PPR email.

We all are hanging in by the same thread, we should get our mails soon.

Whats your current status? My file got approved on Nov 5. Still waiting for PPR. Its in Sydney, NS.

My file got approved on Nov 8 from CIO Sydney, awaiting PPR email.

Hello friends...just got diamond, ruby, sapphire, topaz, silver, golden PPR email.

my timeline is as follows:

AOR : 4 JUNE
IP1/MED PASS: 15 JUNE
IP2: 1 NOVEMBER
PPR: 9 NOVEMBER

Congratulations!!
Vacation is not helping man... Its still hurting to wish when I know I could be wished by all of you had I got my mail by now

I feel they are just releasing 2 or 3 ppr mails per week (for IP2 15-25 Oct guys)

No news.. Now I believe agent was serious when he mentioned 6 month timeline.

He told me to get back to them if I don't get PPR mail by Dec 3rd.
I have been reading this forum pages from pg 725 to 759 and came across only 3 PPR's @nishatmohamedfami

Same AOR as me! And agent told me the same thing! He was very stern about me not calling again before the first week of December is over. I am planning to go on a long vacation with no internet connectivity till Dec 3

The wait is now killing me. I have an international trip planned in the last two weeks of December and if they ask for Passport I don't know if I'll get it back on time.
