I got a 1st stage assessment approval for my H&C application. While waiting for.my 2nd stage assessment, I am allowed for a work permit? Or open work permit? What's the difference of the two?
My second question is, is it necessary to have an Immigration Consultant or a need of a lawyer to handle your papers for the H&C program? Though I already raceive my approval for the 1st stage assessment.

Yes you can got a work permit they must have tell it to you on the last pages of you approval AIP. You have to create or open your online account and apply for open work permit as close work permit is for people who have only one employer and the latter also completes some steps in the process for obtaining the closed work permit.
Consultant or Lawyer is not compulsory but go with your fillings, However, fist stage is the hardest to pass when you passed the first stage only criminality, misrepresentation or medical inadmissibility can make you failed in 2sd stage.
Yes AIP is Approval in Principle and closes your first stage. The letter must say that the minester or his representant approuved your exemption and your PR can now be processed.

1.) Leave it blank, you have to enter date only if your recent entry is different from your original one.
2.) This part not concern you as you want open work permit, just choose Open work permit in the 1st question of this part then answer question 8 and you will be fine for this part.
Details of intended work in Canada
Box 1- you have to select Open Work Permit
You will see some part turn gray Then check which apply to you on box #8 and try validate.

I'm currently into H&C program approved already on stage 1 assessment. I have following questions to ask and hope you can help me on this:
1.) I had an immigration consultant before but the agency no longer continue their services, Should I look for another one or Is it necessary to have one? A family member will do as a representative?
2.) I already sent out my application for open work permit, If once approved, Can I possibly go out from Canada and come back while my permanent residency still on process but holding an open work permit?
3.) If we have clarification with regards to my application, can we send a letter directly to Humanitarian Niagara Falls (4318 Portage Road Niagara Falls)
