Quick question - I understand there is no clear cut answer for this, but just want a general trend.

How many days does it take from status changed to IP2 to PPR? (Assuming RPRF is paid in advance)

The status remains the same as that during IP2 until you receive COPR

There is no specific time period for that. It could vary from a few hours to months. Once you’re in IP2, security screening is the one that takes most of the time. Once that is clear and done, PPR is a next day thing

I was in the same situation as you were. I applied for BOWP and PR a day before both my Work permit expired. My attorney explained it as, if you apply to PR before your visa expires you can legally stay in canada. It is called the " Implied Status ". Same goes for the BOWP. Since you applied for BOWP before you lost your privilages, you are good mate. You can check my profile to see my BOWP processing time

Yep it's just called "Implied status" I was on it for a month whilst waiting for my BOWP. Whilst you're on implied status if you leave the country you give up your right to work, so stay in canada if you want to carry on working.

I hope you're not yet too busy preparing to land in Canada Just wondering, were your job duties 100% match to those listed in your NOC? I have been thinking about that for some time now. I wonder how they actually do the "matching" of duties.

I got it 10 days ago. But no movement. Gcms dated 20/sep/18 confirmed that I passed my eligibility, criminality in progress and security not started. AOR 13 August 2018

I got one just before medical pass (after xrays, sputum, again X-ray). I got super excited only to be told here that it’s for medical pass.

Please how long did it take then to validate your medicals after the septum tests and last x-ray..I'm in the same situation but medicals not validated yet.got negative results for septum tests on 18 September (report from doctor ) and did a second x ray on 30 October as scheduled by doctor. .so please how long do you think it can take for them to validate my meds. .

I shifted to IP2 on 12th Nov 2018 that "we have started your background check we will let you know if we need more information". But my I also see we are reviewing whether you met eligibility criteria. Now here is it my BG started but IP1 still not changed? Is it normal?

Your doctor probably sent cic your medical resultat after about a week.
From what I have read on this forum it can takes days to weeks until your account is updated to medicals passed. Even if an officer at cic has reviewed and approved it. So just sit tight and wait.

Second X-ray report was uploaded by the panel doctors and same day we got MEP

I also got an update "Your Background check is in progress....." on 02nd Nov 2018, Can anyone help me on what may be happening with my application. My AOR is 04th Aug 2018, MEP is 26th Aug 2018, IP2 is 02nd Nov 2018.. Thanks in advance !!

Review of eligibility criteria does not change till CoPR as someone mentioned earlier.

As of BG status you are in IP2, IP1 and IP2 are related to status of background check not eligibility criteria.

It’s a ghost update. This has happened right before PPR in many cases.

I don’t have access to my account. But we have exact same timeline.

Please post if you receive PPR.
