Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

I am looking for some kind advise/help here.

Received an invitation to apply to sponsor parents on July-31(reading everything I believe it is round 2). Completed Application was received at Ottawa on Sep-10....Till date we have not received any communication from CIC....web-form and calling the IRCC client support centre is all in vain.....the call centre agent said that he can't see anything and the application is not open.

I see that a lot of people called and got a temp file XF#.

Can this be true that they haven't open the application yet? Just getting anxious and losing sleep now.

This is actually not good.....I can see some of the people who have submitted the application after us have received a file number which is actually making me think that they have actually received the application.

I know this was already asked before many times by others but I just wanted to make sure

My parents can still apply for TRV in our home country while their application for PR is still on process?

And if they are here and we got request for Medical they can do it here in Canada?

The application for TRV won't affect the PR application?

Hi All,

I am round 2 applicant. I called the IRCC and got the temporary file number on Friday 2nd Nov. They said that it is in progress of completion. Once completed I will be notified. No ETA can be provided.

My row number is 222

This is actually not good.....I can see some of the people who have submitted the application after us have received a file number which is actually making me think that they have actually received the application.

Iam round 2 either but they emailed me requesting missing signature.. its included the temporary application number the XF .. Iam September 24 applicant

I need help friends , I am filling out the forms for my dads TRV application and there's a question if you have a relative that had tuberculosis in the past 2 years or had close contact with tb - my father's sister in law had one last year but she was misdiognosed here in Canada and was told she has lung cancer so they had to go home because she was told sge got 6 months left to live. In our home country she was told it's tuberculosis and not lung cancer so she stayed in our home country for 6 months to get treatment and came back March 2018 and went to TB clinic here in BC and was given some more medications and was cleared last October. My question is shall I declare in my dad's TRV application that he had a relative that had tb for the past 2 years, I am worried that they might require him to do some test because given a TRV and my dad was here in Canada when her sister in law got sick but we thought it's lung cancer not TB.

Please help if I should answer yes
