Yup, my dad received email on Oct 9 from Manila Immigration asking for additional medical information, then my Mom also received email regarding the medical info on October 22. The physician told them to go back on January 7 for the sputum results and for another X-ray.

- If you plan to apply to sponsor your parents next year, then you must meet the LICO for 2016+2017+2018 which essentially means, you must declare and pay taxes to Canada Revenue Agency for the past 3 years. If not, you will have to wait and be eligible to apply in 2021 (Assuming you will declare income and pay tax for 2018 + 2019 + 2020)

Does it only say on myCIC account that Medicals passed or you receive a notification email saying so??

Dear @bugsnette ,thanks for the response ..just wanted to be clear weather one gets email notification for the message or need to keep checking the mycic account. Is there any chance that it's only in my cic account without any email notification.

I have submitted my parents PR application within the oct 5th deadline, anyone has any idea of the biometrics and when it needs to be done? I have already paid for it with the application fee.

For example for a family size of 6 is $76,015 - so 30% Plus is $98,819.50 . Could some one advise?

Sent me XF # last day .. they requesting missing signature and my birth certificate (sponsor) my application received September 24 ..

I got an email yesterday from CIC stating and requesting a copy of my father's death certificate ( i am sponsoring my mother ). Does that mean that an initial review of the application has been completed and what can i expect after this. Thanks in advance.

Round 1 .. yeah i know ... i was one of those who submitted app in the very last week aroun May 22nd...so those apps are being processed now..do you know what stage i am in in the overall process... like if they have asked this one piece of doc ?

AOR, i am assuming that's the initial email that i got , acknowledgement of receiving the app, yes i did got that like a month ago...
