So RCMP certificate has validity normally for 6 months, I'm fearing that Dear Immigration Officer wont pick up my file on time and review criminality
so if rcmp expires does that means I would have to do another one...??
Also I have read on forum that normally security will be done after criminality is processed can someone can confirm this?
I would assume this should still be fine, as your certificate was valid at the time of submission. Wouldn't be fair for them to ask for new certificates if they are the hold-up...
Proof of funds. My funds were above the minimum required but I showed a mortgage and car loan, the analyst deducted the amount I owe for my car loan from the POF and put me under Review Required. I think some of these "analysts" just got out of high school.
Had I not shown my car loan in my documentation as most people do my eligibility would have probably passed long ago.

Wondering if there is a general delay in everyone's applications being processed and after when is a good time to contact CIC incase we don't hear any update.

Yes, there is a general delay right now but June seeing a lot of movement these last two weeks. A lot of people waiting from even June 1st still and they keep saying 6 months is normal processing time. They can wait it out or order notes, which takes a month to arrive, to see what's going on. They can also call and if they get a nice agent they may tell them what is complete. Some won't give information before 6 months.

Yes I have seen many people reporting their files bouncing around visa offices and CIO. I don't know how they decide that. May be there is an automated program which does load redistribution based on # of files at each visa office or it is done manually. @sid1987 Do you know this load redistribution work? Is it automated or manual?

I received PPR on Oct 22 & sent the passports to Ottawa VO next day and delivered on 26 Oct.
What is the Turn-around time for getting passport back from Ottawa visa office?
