WES timeline for 2018

got a status update:
timeline
application created - Sept 16th
documents sent - Sept 17th
documents received - Sept 22nd
documents review in progress - Sept 25th
document review completed, Preparation of evaluation report in progress - Oct 10th (targeted completion date given as Oct 30)
Under final review - Oct 27th (target date given as Oct 29th)
Hopefully I get it tomorrow! all set ready for the next draw

ps: my earlier post on my timeline has some discrepancies, this one is accurate

Thats not going to be a problem for filing the EE application. From what i know, they will send you a electronic copy the same day, which is good enough for the application.

Yes! Did enough research, upto my satisfaction on this you may need the hard copy for future reference purposes, so do keep it safely once you receive that

Can you elaborate on the evaluation policy for Indian MBA's. My case may be similar to yours, I got "Masters of Management" (its not PG diploma) from IIT Bombay. Will that count as masters or not? will be great if you can respond asap

Sorry for the late reply. According to the updated WES policy, an Indian MBA will be evaluated as Masters only if

A. Obtained from a premier institute like IIM or IIT

Or

B. The course duration is 3 years

So in your case, it must be evaluated as Masters I hope. ATB

The status has to change to "In progress - your evaluation report is under review". Which means that your documents are accepted, then you will get the date
I guess it should take anywhere between 10 to 20 days to get updated to that status for you. ATB!

I think Jay was also in the same boat, i remember posting something similar to him as well

If you compare with my timelines. The step where i mentioned documents under review - is the same as Evaluation in progress.

Keep bugging the WES folks over phone and also over FB - I think it helps a bit (i feel it did in my case!)
