I'm trying to upload the PCC for my parents. Now in upload section there is option to put PCC expiry date, but the Issued PCC does not have any expiry date on it. Can someone tell me what they have done for this section?
Do I put expiry date as 1 year from the issue date of PCC?
Please someone answer it as this is urgent for me.
Has IRCC requested for PCC ? They will formally do so, after sponsorship approval and after PR processing really begins. The instructions, once they ask for it, will tell you where to send the PCC, either upload to MyCIC or email it.

We have applied for Indian PCC, the time given by CIC is one month, what if we are not able to get the PCC in one month? Has anyone been in this situation? If yes what is the line of action.
Appreciate inputs from experts.
Thanks
AYK
Did you fill out the "Use of Representative" form ? This form is optional but, should be filled out if you would like to represent the principal applicant through PR processing. In this case, you can supply your own address (Canadian) as well as email, and will get all correspondence redirected to you.
If you haven't filled out that form, and used the home country address then any correspondence sent via snail mail will go to the home country. In my case, all correspondence was over email however.
BTW, you can still fill out the 'Use of Representative" form and send it to IRCC.
How do you send the Use of Representative form later on, when the PR processing is started? Is there an option of uploading it? sending by email? or by snail mail?
Hi,
I have been trying to link my application online. I have tried all possible combinations and nothing worked. Does anyone know how many family members are included in the application? I am sponsoring my mum (principal applicant), my dad and my dependent brother. My husband is a co-signer and we have a 2year old daughter making us a family of 6?? I tried that and it still didn't work. I received my AOR Oct 1st .
The number of family members will be 5 in your case, (3 members you are sponsoring + you + co-signer), don't include your children, it should work, If at all it doesn't work try with 4 (removing your depending brother)
Thanks,
AYK

No one is really an expert here. All advise on this forum is use-at-your-own-risk. That being said, it may be possible to get an extension. You could try and do so by either directly emailing the visa office processing the application, if you have their email address. If not, you could use the webform (link below). My recommendation would be to attach proof like a receipt for PCC, and/or online status of the application to show that you're doing all you can.

I know this was asked many times before but I am not reading the thread every day, I got an request for police clearance and my parents were here in Canada for 2 years but they are in the Philippines right now, they need police clearance here in Canada as well right? Anyone here that has done the same please help and advise..
Also they are asking for updated IMM5669 and IMM5406 with original signatures, does it mean I cannot send it to them by email or upload in CIC account and that they have to bring it in the nearest VAC in our place.
My parents also lived in Saudi Arabia for 9 months ( Jan - Sept 2011)to visit my sister and her family but this the website says it is only available for people who have current legal status, they said write this if you are being asked..
" I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal status;"
