MY LVO is Ottawa but parents are currently outside of Canada. When the PPR comes, can they just send that to any consulate or should it be shipped to the Ottawa office when that day comes?

I applied for my mother's PR this year and I was not expecting to get the process started quickly. I called her here to visit me for 6 months and the process started while she is here. I got the medical done last week in Oakville. Today, I got a email from CIC ottawa to provide Police clearance and form IMM5562.

Has anyone applied for India PCC here while on visit visa?
Or can I apply online in Passport portal while she is outside India?

I would really appreciate some direction here.

Your parents can go to your nearest BLS location to apply for a PCC. Note that processing times for passports issued in India could be much longer than for those who had their Indian Passports issued by Indian High Commission in Ottawa or Indian Consulate in Vancouver & Toronto.

same here, my parents got theirs done a day after your mom did fingers crossed for the both of us. I can't believe this process is more stressful now that it's towards the end!

Hi every one.
We have passed our medical test 22/march/ 2018 and then in June/13/2018 we email visa office about our application process they told us wait till 15 september 2018
If you do not hear anything more by September 15, 2018, please get back to our office and we will make another inquiry. again in 14 september we email visa office about Our application but unfortunately they didn't answer our email till yet i dont' know whats going on with my application does any one know here ???

Yes they can submit passports in Local Visa office where your parents are currently.

I have submit additional documents for mom file around September 16th. via Emial. to ottawa visa office. because they asked me to submit via email. but Ecas status did not change yet? or updated saying they received my documents. Did anyone Ecas status change after submit document? or in status did anyone get update that IRCC ottawa received your documents? Please reply as soon as possible.
