Got Pre-arrival services letter on 2nd October 2018.
Status on GC key is BC in progress.
My question is should I email the CIC about delay after 24th October 2018?

Yes, do email them and ask for an update and if they need any more docs after you pass your 12 months time. They will let you know if they need anything within few days.

I applied in April 2018 and submitted my CSQ certificate to LVO 18th September 2018.
When did you send out your CSQ certificate to LVO? Did you get response from them?

LVO automatically gets sent a copy of your CSQ. To be sure, just call the call center and ask if they've received it. In my case that's what I did and they even confirmed my CSQ certificate number Normally that call center is useless and provide generic good-for-nothing answers but they CAN tell you if they have your CSQ.

Hello,
I have filled in the application forms and I believe there are few points on different forms that need an explanation. So, my question is should I attach a separate letter of explanation for every form (that requires explanation ) and attach to the form as a cover letter or is it better to attach a single letter of explanation for all the forms? I'd really appreciate an advice.

Just received my passport with the visa on it along with my CoPR.

issue date 10/10/2018 and expiry date 03/11/2018 on both CoPR and the Visa.

I researched and asked and found out there's no way to extend it. Use it or lose it. Got less than 20 days even the ticket prices in this short notice are sky high.

I guess I have no choice so farewell my dear aliens this is a one alien got off the ship and wish you all best of luck and a speedy process too..and also an expiration date long enough to get ready but it's possible you end up like me so be prepared either way.

When did your process start?...Mine started in August 2017 and background check started on Sept 19, 2018....I hope its completed soon....sorry cant find the link to the spreadsheet
