1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 25, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 10, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on October 10, 2018

Hello, this is my first post and I sure am glad I found this forum.

My application for PR card renewal was received by Sydney CIC on July 16, 2018. I have not received any email of AOR and my ecas has no information.

May I know whether anybody here whose application was received by CIC on or about July 16, 2018 has any update?

Today I received AOR from IRCC. My application was received on 12th July 2018. I do not see any updates on ECAS yet.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 13, 2018.

Hello, Please help! Is there anyone who had their application returned.

Sent application June 27th, and received my application back Oct 10th (letter dated Sept 25th) stating I sent the wrong identification.

I will be resending today. Does anyone know if I have to wait another 3 months to receive a reply. This process is so frustrating.

I have been sitting at DM since Oct 3rd. The details haven't been updated though:

We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 11, 2018.

So, not really sure what's going on!
edit: realised it's been 4 months to the day that they received my application

I now see the updated ECAS with one line stating Application Received.

Have you tried calling the call centre?
As someone said, they might take 1-2 weeks until production is done and the card is mailed out.

I have not received any emails from CIC though.

My status is now Decision Made with the following details.

Hi, Just wondering where did you took your photos? I believe a lot of people who took their photos at Shoppers Drugmart , Their application were sent back to them.

Hi, my application was received on July 12th and yesterday it was finally shown online as received.

Hi, mine was delivered on July 18th, I was talking to an officer while ago (11-Oct), he mentioned that they are opening the files which they received on July 16th, probably you will hear from them shortly.

Why do they take so long to open application? My spouse application was receive on September 17 and I forgot to include a copy of the back of the Pr card and I also miss one page on the passport where the expired date is so I hoping they will just asked for it but it’s seems that like returning application so I will wait and see.

My spouse also took his picture at shoppers and I didn’t like the stamp in the back of the picture so I went back to them and it’s a good thing I did because the girl at shoppers said there was shadow on the picture and the application was going to be returned.

Did you send them photocopy the back of your Pr card? Or just the front?
