Application received: May 14

Hey guys i had issue I sent my application for PR in May 2 with out the open work permit, but then someone told me i could apply with it and i sent it out in august, Now I got it mailed back telling me that I paid the wrong costs and the actual open work permit costs is $255.00. I looked everywhere on the website it doesn't even have that amount . It says open work permit is $100.00 for the application. And then its also saying i need to submit $1550 additional costs for the whole application. Did the person who read my application, read it wrong? or can someone tell me what everyone paid for their open work permit application. Im so lost and dont know what to do. Please and advisement would be great!

you have to pay the open work permit $100 and work permit (including extension) $155 so you have to pay in total is $255. I know they didn't stated clear enough. it is very frustrating. I know many people got their open work permit returned because of the wrong fee they submitted.
I would suggest you to re-send it right away (as long as you are not out of status) with the correct fee so it won't add up delays.

But I already extended my visa for a year I did that first before I submitted the open work permit. I have an extension up to may 5th already 2019. Does this mean I have to redo my extension too?

unfortunately yes, you have to pay the full fee for the open work permit $255

Are you sure you read that correctly ? You _do_ need to pay an extra 155, not 1550, for the OWP.
