Hi @YULIA-2016 , yes DM and IME are both dated 01oct and ECAS status sponsorship...is decision made and PR status is in progress. Medical request form is in my CIC account.

Hello all, I submitted Police Clearance for my parents on Aug 30. Medical exam done on Aug 8. I have not received Passport Request yet. Is this normal? My parents went to pakistan 2 times to visit family, will this delay the background check? getting anxious as nothing moved in last 40 days.

if you did medical and sent PCC is not mean they make decision next day.
BC and security check are next

Thank you very much for your inputs. And on receiving ppr request did ecas status aslo showed any message about ppr request or they just sent email? I am little bit concerned about this . My father deleted few emails couple of days back and i am afraid if he deleted ppr request email accidently.

I do not link my CIC account so I do not know the details of the message. But my ECAS status stops at "Medical results have been received" since my parents receive Passport request email. ECAS did not show "passport request..." or something similar...

Same with me. When you ask to link to sponsor or applicant what do you mean by sponsor account?

My account or parents... when i applied for visitor visa i created one for parents... i also have one my self... thats what i meant

Maybe... But I think getting the email is more important than getting the ECAS updated so you don't need to worry.
I got the ECAS updated to "Decision made" on PR application and yet, about 10 days later had I received the medical exam request and police clearance request...kind of not so nice feeling in the waiting time...

Hi every one i have a quest is this possible that visa office can exclude dependenet from the file family sponsorship parent and grandparents without tell you becouse today we receivd medical to every one except one dependent without tell us the reason or may be the email will be send in anthor time can any one advise me what happend and what should i do

Maybe the best way is to contact IRCC directly to find out?

Hello Julia, I know that BC and Security will be next. When I applied for my mother-in-law last year, she got passport request within 3 weeks after PCC and Medical. Any idea how long BC and Security check normally takes? Visa office Ottawa.

In the email/letter request to submit the passport, IRCC said do not contact them within 1 month so I guess the checks are done within 1 month from the date of submission?
