Hi all,
My representative (a registered ircc immigration consultant) messed up big time. Our file was received on 12th March, 2018 (Outland). CIC sent medical request for my wife and son on 27th april, 2018 ( I got sponsor approval before getting medical request). But my stupid consultant failed to check the medical request for my wife. He told me that the request is only for my Son. We submitted the required medical right away. After that we got request for SchA and PCC for my wife. We submitted both the documents on time. After that our file was transferred to Local visa office (NDVO). Today i.e. 26th September, 2018 my consultant told me that he missed the medical request email for my wife which was received on 27th April. He advised me to get the medical done right away and submit the same to the CIC. We are going to submit medical today.

Has anyone ever been in this type of situation before? What legal action can I take against my consultant if my file is refused. ? I have all the communications in which my consultant is telling me that no medical request has been received. What should I expect now? I am facing undue hardship because the stupid consultant didn't do his job.

My application for spousal sponsorship are received in 1 March and transfer back to Novada in 2nd week of May after medical.
But after that i did not get anything form CIC
And Novada.
Plz. Help me by telling, how long it take for passport request and what are the current position of application in Novada.

Tough to say anything, as it is a mystery when it comes to understand the process of how CIC works.. May be another 2-3 months since March applicant.. But still hope and wish you get to hear soon!

There are a couple of things you could do
1. Remove your representative and file a complaint to IRCC. so that they cancel his license
2. Inform what happen to you and ask how to fix it.
I don't see anything else you could do on your behalf unless until IRCC approach you and ask you for more information.

Is that application are sent to local vo and then after verification they send it back to ndvo.. Is it so?

Hello !

One very simple question but I could not find accurate answer. Question is:-

Can the sponsor (in case of Spouse sponsorship) link application online after receiving AOR ?
Or is it Principal Applicant that should create account and link application ?

Does it makes difference if one or other does it ?

Also once AOR is received that confirms that Sponsor eligibility has been verified and now whole focus will be shifted to PA's background check and further process ?

Any details on this will be helpful and appreciated.
