yes, and they said it was mailed Sept 4th or 5th (they had IT issue so he wasnt sure of the exact day).
Called them again early this week but he sais he may take a bit longer than normal and I had to wait for 6 weeks anyway before there was anything else I could do.
aaah.. so deciding factor is this week... 26 is deadline when they can top strike.. but they won't... ( typical union shit)... but they working good... why because I got my card yesterday hehehe

Hi
In the landing interview they told us that we will receive the card after 3 months.
-Did you received yours before 3 months.
-how many days from the landing the status of documents will change ( pr card linked to the account)
Thanks

i think they give it extra time in case it gets send back to them and they have to redeliver it? I dont know. 6 weeks is the time you have to wait before you can declare lost (never received in that case). It s on their website but I agree it sounds really long.
But the guy that checked may be just quickly checked my profile and it might not actually have been mailed on sept 4th for me but just merely printed on that day... At least I m hoping they didnt lose it...
So mine was mailed out on Aug 4th and I haven't received it yet. As per CIC rule one has to wait for 6 weeks before Solemn Declaration. I am going to fax them in a day or two.
I would recommend that please check your neighbors mailbox, mistakes happen! Mostly if you haven't received the mail in 2-3 weeks then It's lost. Wait for 6 weeks and then fax Solem Declaration form.
It's just an update that you would see that your Application has been updated. It then immediately reverts to the 'Submitted' status soon after. Applicants typically see an 'Approved' status within 3-4 days.
