November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

I applied for grant of citizenship for two of us from Vancouver in November 2017. Below is status update in CIC site,

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 14, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 20, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on February 15, 2018

and literally there is no update after 15-Feb

Just want to know if this is case for most of us or processing time taking so long just for me.

You may try calling the IRCC call center to ask for updates.

i took the test last monday september 17, im sorry to hear that yours is taking that long but i remember the officer told me that everything is okay with my application and expect oath in november.

I applied on December, passed test on June 14 in Hamilton. The lady told me that I should hear back in 3 months
Saw DM on Sep 7. but no Oath invitation still.
How long is waiting time between DM and Oath in Hamilton? I want to travel to UK, and was hoping to get candian passport before that, so dont have to apply for a visa.

I had an interview/test today at 1.35 pm at Scarborough office.I live in Mississauga.
I reached there one hour before. Parked my Car at Cineplex and then walked towards IRCC building
The test was easy.If you read the discovery book two times ,you should be fine.
I got 20/20 and my wife got 18/20.
The interview was good. The officer was polite and asked general questions and checked the Passports and Ids.
She finally said that we are all good and we would receive Oath notificataion in few weeks.

Hi, I got my oath invite 2 weeks after my test. I told them about my travel plans at the time of interview. They have oath ceremony schedules... my guess is 2 per month accommodating 100ishh people. You should get your invite soon.

Read the book once, and take as many practice tests as possible. And then a couple of days before the test, read the book again. You would be surprised on how well you remember the years/names etc.

Be sure to read every part of the book including the side box as well as pictures and description. Good luck!
