I was able to get thru to them y'day (i am also 2nd batch applicant) and the agent told me .. my mail must be in a pile of mails which take them 6-8 weeks to open and get thru .. my gut feel is they get to post in 3-4 weeks ...

AOR comes via email in most cases.

On the website under After you apply it says provide your biometrics as soon as possible. I paid the biometric fees for my parents, what should we do next, should they go to the VAC. We don't have an AOR yet.

I did the same I already paid fees for biometrics, I believe they will send letter advising to go for biometrics and this letter will be required for biometrics by visa office where parents are currently residing.

I entered lottery 2017 and 2018, finally got invited July 31 2018. Mailed my application from Ontario on September 12, it was delivered today - September 17. Parents are residing in Saudi Arabia. Can someone add me to the spreadsheet? I don’t have write access.

Hello All,

Few people have asked this question but still no solid response.

As we know for many applicants the visa office is assigned as Ottawa even if their parents are in INDIA.

So they question is when we are receiving the Passport request, how we can send the passports to Local visa office in India ( like New Delhi, Chandigarh etc.)

After receiving the PPR request we can just send our passports to say New Delhi and they know what to do with those or should we include any letter and from where we can get the address for sending the passports to New Delhi / Chandigarh office.

No its not you can pay later at VAC when they advised for biometric.

My PR Application status went back to Application Received from In process. Whats going on ?!

Don't worry about it. I was in same boat (my status changed from in Process for the principle applicant to application received) and the status changed to "in process" back again after a week or so.

This form should be filled/signed by only by Principal applicant. Also mentioned in document check list. If your father is Principal applicant, only him has to fill this form. He should include only dependents in the form. To find out who is dependent here is CIC's link

Ofcourse, the spouse of your father (Your mother) is dependent of your father, and should be included in that form
