Actually, if I was to go by the blank activities in the notes, my security started on 14/03/18. Activity 4 then may have started on 22/06/18. So almost 3 months into activity 4 .. WTH

It means your eligibility was passed around March 14, 2018 and then security started. There is always a gap of around 3 months between the application sent to CBSA and the initiation of security (in progress).

Nah my eligibility was passed on 19/12/17 then there was a 2 months gap. On 28/02/18 they received my info sharing results from US and then my security started on 14/03/18. Now all I'm hoping for is that it doesn't go to CSIS otherwise I'll be preparing myself for forking out money on the writ of mandamus. I'm so fed up with all this BS.

Oh, I’m so sorry to find out the info sharing took a lot of time in your case. It delayed the case by 3 months and more.

Yeah, what pisses me off is that it was intiated in June last year and the results only came back after 8 months. Somebody must've forgotten about my file or left it under the bulkstack of other files.

I’m unable to understand why did it take so long in your case. In my case it was done within two weeks of AOR.

Exactly mate. I was appalled when I saw that in my first set of GCMS notes. Now all I'm hoping for is that CBSA concludes my security as soon as possible without getting CSIS involved.

I've also heard that when CBSA forwards the file to CSIS, they do it pretty much soon after receiving it from IRCC instead of sitting on it for 6-7 months. Don't know how much truth was in that.

Activity 4 is the one that takes the longest time. I’m on that since Feb 22, 2018.

Since when you are in SS? Csis completed your screening? How long they took to send advise back to cbsa? My 4th activity added after 7.5 months of SS. Don't know how long will it take now.
