no, DM is never sent through email. You should see it in your ecas status. It depends on the citizenship officer when they update applicant ECAS status to DM after the interview. Like in my case the status was changed to DM after a week of test/interview while in my wife's case it is the very next day. So there is no fixed pattern. Sooner or later you will see the status changed to DM. Good Luck.

Did the citizenship officer mentioned anything about your pending police check or anything during interview? Sometimes, IRCC invites candidate to write test when they are still waiting for security clearance; in those cases DM is delayed until results are received.

I think they just forgot to update ecas status to DM and you might directly receive invite for oath. Good Luck.

Please update my profile status. Finally after 9 months I got my test invite on Sept 12, 2018 and test date is Sept 29, 2018.
Seems like finally Mississauga files are starting to move.
