Have you received your AOR yet? I accidentally sent my file to CPC-Missisauga. I didn't know that they had changed it to CPC-Sydney. I had all my docs ready by end of June and didn't bother to check back on website as i had been checking every second day. My application was receievd at CPC-Missisauga on 9th of July but no AOR yet. Have you received any news yet?
sometime they digitalize the documents and forward it to the concern processing center.
i hope they will do it with your file as well. wait for sometime and you will hear from them.
AOR has no specific time, sometime it come in 30 days, sometime in 60 and sometime it goes beyond.
mine came after 3 months in 2017
alright Thank you.
but how many copies do we need for each document
and secondly could you please list down them for me in case i am missing out something...
one copy of everything. Hey also find out the exact size and specs of the pics you need to apply for PR. send them that otherwise you'll have to get pics again.
I had the list here somewhere with me idk where it is rn.
But the main things are:
Nikkah nama (If in urdu then get a certified true translation as well as the urdu one) [Notarize and certify true copy]
1. Nadra marriage certificate [Notarize and certify true copy]
2. Educational Degrees & certificates [Notarize and certify true copy]
3. ID card (full page copy front and back) [Notarize and certify true copy]
4. Passport (front photo page + the signature page) [Notarize and certify true copy]
5. Your employment letter from your current employer (Your "name + CNIC number + position + date of joining" should be mentioned, its good.)
6. If you have put your name as "husband's name" in place of "father's name" on your wife's NICOP, Make full page front and back copy just like your own ID [Notarize and certify true copy]
Remember your pictures and other proof to prove your marriage and your relationship, screen shot your whatsapp convo from wife's phone and your phone and compile them both separately and print them. 20 pics from Walima 20 from Barat + Rukhsati 20 from Mehendi (if you did) would be sufficient. Make sure you also have pictures of you and your wife signing nikkah nama where your face can be seen.
Gcms notes are the details of ur case so far which u can ask from cic
Everything on my side is done except the bgc still in process
14th month about to start
I wish 25th september is the final date but on notes it is written due date 25th sept
On due date they bring forward ur case
If anything needed they will ask
If not then they might take final decision
If bgc still going on
They give another due date
Guys, Due dates are different for different things,
if the Due date is for documents for example Police clearance certificates or Medical, then this means the system will alert the staff to request new documents.
if this is for process which is called "Bring Forward Date" or BFD, then this mean the officer worked on your file and he may be waiting for some information, so he tag the file with a date to open it again. suppose he worked on your file and he need your NIkah Nama, so he will tag the file with a BFD of 30 or 45 days, during which he will request that document from you.
There is no due date for Process to end or BGC to end.

hi, you do not need to get a certified true copy of documents that are already in English. they specifically mention in the full guide that if the document is already in English they dont need certified copy, just a simple copy is enough. if the document is in Urdu then it needs a certified copy and an english translation as well.
Could you please check your application status via phone call, has the BGC started yet? One of the applicant from Jan 15, 2018 on Facebook says his BGC is in-process when he checked the application status by calling the automated system, but on GCKey it says not started yet.
I'm Jan 16, 2018 applicants I also called the automated system to check if it was the same case for me but unfortunately my BGC has not yet started.
calling the CIC centre 1-888-242-2100, the automated service says that if your app was received after october 10, 2017 then it is not yet being processed, and says that it takes approx 11 months to process.

yes make lots of photos, etc together and with family and send that to LVO, it would show more proof of you both being together.
Include her passport stamps into/out of Pakistan as well as ticket copy, etc too
