Hi people, do we need to submit original documents (Nikah Nama, Birth Certificates etc) with spousal sponsorship? If yes, do CIC return them back after processing the application?

They want notarized copies of ur documents .. if u wish to send them the originals, thats ur choice .. they do send them back ..

no, do not send them original copies of anything unless they specifically ask for original copies. their guide says that they will not return originals unless they asked for original.

what is BF?

For everyone who has asked, BF means “bring forward.” So when the program assistant sets your file to “put away” status after their initial review, they also set a BF date. This is when the file will appear in their inventory to be reviewed again.

I am Dec.17 applicant and my file is still await a full review in LVO..it has been more than 8 months.....what is going on with our files.?

Sadly the applications are taking very long for most people, just be patient. there was 11 months gap before our BGC started and it has not budged since then. We have almost reached 1 year mark. Most applications are taking 15 months

22 July received application.
21 September 2017 medical passed.
file transferred to NDVO.
On 10 July 2018 case sent to LDVO from NDVO. Redid medical on 24 July 2018 and passed.
status is not change, its more than 13 months now!
contact LDVO via webform they reply : additional review is required, we will contact you in next three months if further request required.
I cant understand !!!

Email reply says awaiting review.. went to MP and they said the same thing. They said they could not do anything as of now ...
