That's what it looks like. What was really frustrating for me was that it is clear in the response that they didn't check the status of my husband's application but just responded with the generic 12 month answer. It doesn't seem to matter that I told them that other October people are getting their passport requests, after we got the pre arrival email so it is pretty clear that NDVO is processing October. Anyway I'll see if I get anything further and as I said will share if it is something useful.

Here's hoping that we might get some good news soon.

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed and hope to get the good news soon or let’s hope the agent returns soon from the urgent work/vacation and complete our files i.e DM and PPR.
A friend’s friend in AB is in the same situation as ours . I just got the news yesterday and that adds one more to the 21 Aug Pre-arrival Group.

Congratulations. Within 6 months. You are lucky. We are still waiting 2017 October applicant. Is I that true Cic is approving Kerala applicants fast.

Or does it come with the Passport. I don’t remember how it was for mine. Long time ago

The passport was submitted to VFS on August 29th. They informed me that it would take 30 days to get your passport back with COPR.

Looking from that perspective, I am pretty sure that you will receive COPR well before October 23rd, maybe by end of Sepetember.

Same day PPR Request and Approved 5 days after submitting passport

Cool, so we submitted the passport on August 30th and today Sept 7th, its approved and received email that they have send the passport back to us. Just wondering if COPR comes at a later stage or does it come with the passport
